Do You Eat Babies ?

"Vegetarians face an ethical dilemma...."

Today the Daily Torygraph reported the story that Masterfoods is to begin using animal rennet in its chocolate products. Unfortunately they decided (naturally) to report it in such a (smug) way that it really pissed me off.

Vegetarians who have learned to live without roast beef dinners and
bacon sandwiches were yesterday forced to make another major sacrifice:
chocolate.

If a person would miss meat then why would that person give it up ? Meat IS murder (cheers Mozza !) and this is it for a vegetarian – they won't eat a murdered being.

The admission by Masterfoods presents the country's three million
vegetarians with an ethical dilemma over whether to consume more than
20 best-selling products.

There will be no ethical dilemma. If there is then the person should stop considering themselves 'vegetarian'.

And yes, I know that the Torygraph was trying to be 'funny', but the attitude displayed here is just fucking typical of the bloodthirsty (for animals) press.

Vorspiel over now, the real issue here is using animal rennet in food. Dis-fucking-gusting. Let's quote even the Torygraph : "Rennet is extracted from the stomach-lining of slaughtered newborn calves" So, do YOU eat babies ? To my eyes (as began Gandhi) there is no difference between the life of a calf and that of a human baby (derived from Gandhi). Okay, fuck that, there is for me – I'd eat the fucking human, just to prove a point. Of course, there's no difference between eating a calf and eating a full grown cow – so, I must also kill and eat an adult human... Now there's something I might enjoy, at least the part where I get to execute a person in a mightily humiliating way. Joy !

Now, of course, there's a catch here : I would no more eat a factory farmed (former sweatshop child-labourer) person than I would eat ANY animal, factory farmed or otherwise. So, I must be ethical with who I choose to eat... A rich white man – preferably the CEO of some unethical company that enslaves animals or humans, destroys the planet or creates weapons of war. Plenty to choose from – in fact, I might put on a few pounds !

Who's with me, then ? Eat a rich white man and help save the world !

And don't forget : just because I wouldn't eat an animal, doesn't mean I wouldn't eat YOU.

Much love to my Vegan (and vegetarian) readers
